The company not only has the more experienced IC design resource/ team but also has a strong technical/ application support team and labs to build the reference design for customers. Offering a whole series of metrology products with ultra-low power consumption SoCs, non-polarity RS-485 IC, and 32-bit MCU for meters, Vango has 72 US and China patents in the areas of MCU design, analog design, energy metering algorithms, SoC design, and reliability design. The reference solutions that Vango provides includes a software library for metering based on Real-time OS and G3-PLC network stack and turnkey solutions on the real-time OS, have speeded up the customer development schedule (time to market) and reduced the customer investments.
For the future, the company plans to expand its product portfolio, which will include upgraded 32-Bit SoCs for the overseas market, multicore high-speed MCU, more advanced metrology AFE, upgraded PLC chipset (with RF/ dual mode PLC). Besides the products, which have been shipped out of China, the company is planning to expand its support infrastructure worldwide, including sales and technical support. Vango’s overall aim is to be close to the customers, standard committees and IC technologies and understand their needs alongside market requirements clearly to take quick actions on its products and solutions and keep up the competitive advantage.
